History
Holger Christiansen (1927-2000) laid the foundation for the HC-CARGO success story in 1963. The company’s headquarters was - and still is -located in the city of Esbjerg, Denmark.
HC-CARGO faces market changes and technical developments with a forward focused and customer-orientated spirit, which is the driving force behind HC-CARGO employees. For more than 50 years, customers have come to appreciate not only the high quality of HC-CARGO products, but also the excellent service and strong partnership they have with us.
HC-CARGO starters, alternators, A/C compressors and auto electrical spare parts and accessories, are a firmly established feature in the independent automotive aftermarket.
The Bosch Company acquired Holger Christiansen A/S in 2008. HC-CARGO has been a Bosch Group brand since then.

”Hi, I am the manager of the central warehouse in Esbjerg. I take care that the right products are delivered to you on time. We stock all of our products to ensure fast, efficient delivery. Orders that are placed by 1:00 PM (CET) on a weekday will be dispatched the same day. Within Europe they are delivered the next day.”
Purchasing
”Becoming an HC-CARGO supplier is not that easy. They need to be DIN EN ISO 9001 certified and must fulfill a list of preconditions. Last but not least they have to convince me. Together with the Quality Department I visit our suppliers and test them intensively before they deliver the first products.”
